Opening ceremony / Welcome reception

The opening ceremony will be held in the main conference room on the ground floor (Hall 5) of the Convention Centre on Wednesday, 18 August 2010 late afternoon in the presence of national and international dignitaries.

Delegate lounge

Located in the exhibition area, this area will be a perfect place for informal socializing, relaxation or enjoying some local cuisine. Complimentary tea will be offered to all visitors to this area.

China night

A tentative China evening is scheduled for Friday, 20 August 2010, as an opportunity for all participants to further network in a relaxing, entertaining and truly Chinese environment. Check the website for updated information. This evening is optional and at the delegate’s own expense.

Closing ceremony

The closing ceremony will take place in Hall 5 Saturday, 21 August 2010 after the last afternoon sessions. It will be an opportunity to review the progress made during the Congress, discover the outcome of the World Leaders and meet the team leading the 2012 World Cancer Congress in Montreal, Canada
